HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR

Reiki Session

GENERAL SUGGESTIONS

  • Choose a quiet, comfortable place, or a place will be created for you to lay (massage table, couch, bed, floor, etc) with cushions, padding, and/or a blanket. 

  • Welcome to burn candles, incense, or perform any other rituals to help you feel more at ease and to cleanse the space you have chosen

  • Silence your phone or devices, remove your watch, and reduce any other foreseeable distractions

  • Best to eat light or after your session

  • And one last bathroom break before our session won't hurt

SESSION CHECK-IN

  • To prepare the space I will arrive at least 10 minutes before the session

  • Time will be dedicated before the session for you to ask questions, to check in on how you are feeling, and identify any areas you want to focus on

VIRTUAL REIKI

  • I will be on the call at least 10 minutes before our session. Welcome to use this time to join the virtual session to setup as well.

  • It is up to you whether you prefer to keep your camera on during the session to help me keep an eye on you or if you prefer to disconnect from Zoom until re-convening at the end
